Rockola legend manual

So when I make a selection none of the CD unit moves o anything. In these pictures the part in question is where the loose unconnected wires. If you have any information like if it's the wron part I am referring to or if you know a more detailed name for thi part or leads or even better have the part I am looking for I woul very much like to hear from you.

Just picked up a Legend and I am getting an error code - Mech Error I am sure this is something simple, but I cannot find a listing of the error codes online and think my only option might be to track down a manual, also not an entirely simple task.
