HP has no viable fix and every driver has been updated on the system. No direction has been given as to what would be the best viable software to use in Windows 10 that replaces Cyberlink that actually works with Windows That every time someone gives you things to fix it's always the same thing, Remove the device, let the system find it and install the drivers again, Edit the registry, even apply fixes that you later find out that whomever sends you to this fix it is a fix for either Windows 8 or Windows Vista.
Many of us need a fix either provided by Microsoft or HP but in either case Windows 10 is a poor product if you cannot use your optical drive to burn data, play a DVD movie or access a CD of any kind.
Please provide us a way to solve this issue. As it stands now I would not recommend anyone upgrade to Windows 10 as it seems Microsoft and HP each pass the buck rather than address the issue with a downloadable fix to the issue.
